  1. Day 1 Depart the UK

    Depart the UK and fly to Venice. Upon arrive your will travel to your hotel.

  2. Day 2 Venice

    Take a walking your of Venice and visit the Rialto Bridge and the Grand Canal. Continue to St Mark’s Square and Basilica with great views over the city.

    You will continue to Doge’s Palace and end at the Bridge of Sighs.

  3. Day 3 Venice

    This morning visit the Ghetto where Jews were made to live but the Venetian Republic governments.

    Visit the Galleria dell’Accademia known as the Gallery of the Academy Florence and famous for the Michelangelo’s sculpture David.

    Visit the Roman Catholic church Santa Maria delle Salute.


  4. Day 4 Return to the UK

    Depart Venice and fly back to the UK.

  1. Rialto Bridge and the Grand Canal Venice

    Rialto Bridge is a stone arch bridge spanning the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy. It is the oldest bridge in Venice and still in use. It connects the districts of San Marco and San Polo. It has two inclined ramps which lead up to a central portico. On either side of the portico, the covered ramps carry rows of shops. It has become one of the architectural icons of Venice.

  2. St Mark’s Square and Basilica Venice

    The Patriarchal Cathedral Basilica of Saint Mark, commonly known as St Mark’s Basilica, is the most famous of the city’s churches and one of the best-known examples of Italo-Byzantine architecture. It is famous for its lavish design with gold ground mosaics and is a symbol of Venetian wealth and power. Since the 11th century, the building has been known by the nickname Chiesa d’Oro meaning Church of Gold.

  3. The Ghetto, Venice Venice

    The Venetian Ghetto was the area of Venice in which Jews were forced to live by the government of the Venetian Republic. Today, the Ghetto is still a centre of Jewish life in the city and the temples are still used as places of worship while other social facilities include a kindergarten, an old people’s home, the kosher guest house, the kosher restaurant, and a bakery. Along with its architectural and artistic monuments, the community also features a Museum of Jewish Art and the Renato Maestro Library.

  4. Stanta Maria delle Salute Venice

    Santa Maria della Salute, commonly known simply as the Salute, is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica and is one of Venice’s most recognisable buildings. It is prominently positioned near the entrance to the Grand Canal and your students will see the way that the white stones, exuberant statuary and high domes gleam stunningly under the sun. The church was built to thank Madonna for her intervention during a plague in 1630 when 80,000 Venetians had been killed by the devastating plague. Your group will see that no expense or effort was spared in its construction.
