  1. Day 1 Depart the UK
    Take your flight from the UK to Barcelona. Meet your coach and driver upon arrival and transfer to your hotel.
  2. Day 2 Barcelona
    Spend the full day in Barcelona where you will have a walking tour in the morning. Walk along Las Ramblas and explore La Boqueria Market. Later you could take your coach and visit the Nou Camp Stadium, Poble Espanyol de Montjuic and Gaudi’s unfinished Cathedral.
  3. Day 3 Port Aventura Park
    Full day in the Port Aventura Park.
  4. Day 4 Depart Spain
    Travel to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

  1. Park Güell Barcelona
    The Park Güell is a public park system, designed by Antoni Gaudí, composed of gardens and architectonic elements and is located on Carmel Hill, the northern face of the mountain range of Collserolaon, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.  The park was built from 1900 to 1914 and was officially opened as a public park in 1926. In 1984, UNESCO declared the park a World Heritage Site under ”Works of Antoni Gaudí”. In the design of Park Güell, Gaudí unleashed all his architectonic genius and put to practice much of his innovative structural solutions that would become the symbol of his organic style and that would culminate in the creation of the Basilica and Expiatory Church of the Holy Family (Catalan: Sagrada Familia).
  2. Girona Spain
    Girona is a city in Spain’s north-eastern Catalonia region. It’s known for its medieval architecture, walled Old Quarter (Barri Vell) and the Roman remains of the Força Vella fortress. Landscaped gardens line the Passeig Arqueològic, a walkway following the Old Quarter’s medieval walls, which include watchtowers with sweeping views. During its history, Girona has undergone twenty-five sieges and been captured seven times. In recent years, the missing parts of the city walls on the eastern side of the city have been reconstructed. Called the Passeig de la Muralla it now forms a tourist route around the old city. During the 12th century the Jewish community of Girona flourished and today, the Jewish quarter or Call is one of the best preserved in Europe and is a major tourist attraction along with the  Montjuïc (or hill of the Jews in medieval Catalan), where an important religious cemetery was located.
  3. Barcelona Spain
    Barcelona is the cosmopolitan capital of Spain’s Catalonia region, well known for its art and architecture and packed full of iconic landmarks, great theme parks and fascinating museums. This area has much to offer school groups and works well with both coach and air tours. Spend time at Portaventura world or visit the cultural centre of Barcelona. Your students could visit the famous Sagrada Família church and other modernist landmarks designed by Antoni Gaudí that dot the city. There are several Roman archaeological sites and also modern art and architecture by the great artists:  Dali; Gaudi; Miro; and Picasso.
  4. Port Aventura World Barcelona
    Portaventura World is an entertainment resort in Salou. It is the most visited theme park in Spain and now includes a second theme park, Ferrari land, since 2017. There is also the Caribe aquatic park. Six completely different worlds of adventure await you which are all designed with stunning theme details to enhance your experience. Mediterrania, Polynesia, Sesamoaventura, China, Mexico and Far West. Portaventura Park has 40 rides, with records for height, speed and size, for you to test your courage and feel an adrenaline rush. Climb on board for the ride of your life! You will encounter intense, dizzying and exciting attractions such as Dragon Khan, Furious Baco and Shambhala, Europe’s highest roller coaster. Enjoy a different kind if entertainment and discover the magic of show business with up to 40 daily performances!
  5. Sagrada Famillia Cathedral Barcelona
    The Basílica de la Sagrada Família, commonly known as the Sagrada Família, is a large unfinished Roman Catholic minor basilica in Barcelona, Spain. Designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926), his work on the building is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Construction began in 1882 and it combines both Gothic and curvilinear Art Nouveau. Gaudí devoted the remainder of his life to the project, and he is buried in the crypt. Construction relies solely on private donations and has been slow to progress, especially when it was interrupted by the Spanish Civil War, when revolutionaries set fire to the crypt and partially destroyed Gaudí’s original plans, drawings and plaster models.  Computer aided design  have since enabled faster progress and construction passed the midpoint in 2010. However, the construction of ten more spires are still to be completed, each symbolising an important Biblical figure in the New Testament. It is predicted that the building can be completed by 2026, the centenary of Gaudí’s death.
  6. Camp Nou Stadium Barcelona
    Camp Nou (meaning new field) is the home stadium of the world famous FC Barcelona. With a seating capacity of 99,354, it is the largest stadium in Spain and Europe and the third largest football stadium in the world in capacity. It has hosted many important football matches including: European Cup/Champions League finals ; UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup finals; UEFA Super Cup finals; the opening game of the 1982 FIFA World Cup;  matches from the 1964 European Nations’ Cup; and the football competition final at the 1992 Summer Olympics. Enjoy a tour of the stadium with student groups.
  7. La Rambla Barcelona
    La Rambla is a street in central Barcelona, popular with tourists and locals alike. A tree-lined pedestrian mall, it stretches for 1.2 kilometres connecting Plaça de Catalunya in the centre with the Christopher Columbus monument at Port Vell. At the north end of La Rambla lays Plaça de Catalunya, a large square that is generally considered to be both its city centre and the place where the old city and the 19th century-built Eixample meet. Walk to the southern end to see the Christopher Columbus Monument and the Port Vell. This old port of Barcelona is now largely given over to pleasure craft. Near to the port end of the Rambla are the Royal Dockyards (in Catalan, Drassanes), which house a maritime museum specifically devoted to naval history in the Mediterranean. Your group could also visit The Gothic Quarter to the east of La Rambla where you will discover small squares and streets, many of which connect onto the Rambla, or visit the El Raval quarter to the west which was originally the site of various religious and medical institutions but is now home to several important buildings, including Gaudí’s Palau Güell.
  8. Tossa De Mar Spain
    Tossa De Mar is a municipality in Catalonia, Spain, located on the Costa Brava, about 103 kilometres north of Barcelona. In 1989 Tossa de Mar was the first place in the world to declare itself an anti-bullfighting city. Visit the remains of the church atop Mount Guardí, built in 1187. During the 12th century the medieval town was walled off and a castle was built on the highest point of Mt. Guardí, but replaced by a wind mill and later by a lighthouse which is still operational. There is sufficient evidence of settlements dating back to the Neolithic period, and it is believed that the area has been continuously populated since that time, including Iberian and Roman settlers in earlier centuries.
  9. Poble Espanyol Barcelona
    Your group could experience The Poble Espanyol, which is an open-air architectural museum in Barcelona, near the Fountains of Montjuïc. It consists of 117 full-scale buildings, which recreate Spanish villages. It also contains a theatre, restaurants, artisan workshops and a museum of contemporary art. The Poble Espanyol exhibits more than 30 artisans who regularly work within the village making blown glass, leather, ceramics, jewellery, masks, baskets, and Spanish guitars. It also contains rides, stores with gourmet products, and restaurants or bars with cuisine from the different regions of Spain. Your group can also visit the Fran Daurel museum which is situated within the Poble Espanyol with a private collection open to the public featuring over 295 works of contemporary Spanish artists including Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró, Antoni Tàpies, Barceló, Josep Guinovart and Amat. Students can also enjoy the sculpture garden, with 41 large sculptures.
  10. Olympic stadium Barcelona
    Your school tour could visit the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, which is a stadium in Barcelona. It was originally built in 1927 for the 1929 International Exposition in the city and renovated in 1989 to be the main stadium for the 1992 Summer Olympics and hosted the opening and closing ceremonies and the athletics competitions.  It is now used mainly as the home stadium of local amateur side FC Penger. In 2001, the stadium was renamed after the former president of the Generalitat de Catalunya Lluís Companys, who was executed at the nearby Montjuïc Castle in 1940 by the Franco regime.
  11. Marineland Tossa de Mar
    Spend a day with your group at the Water Park with shows featuring dolphins and exotic birds. Marineland Catalonia was one of the first marine zoos in Spain and Europe. The park offers exhibitions of dolphins, numerous shows of sea lions, parrots and exotic birds. It also has impressive aquariums, where your students can venture on a journey through various marine species of the Pacific Ocean. This is a place your group can learn more about dolphins whilst at the same time having fun. Allow your group to brave the rides and experience ‘Boomerang’, when they will speed down defying gravity in a rubber ring. With more than 114 animals form over 30 different species, Marineland makes for a great day out for your school.
