  1. Day 1 Depart the UK

    Depart the UK and arrive in Lima. You will be met at the airport by your guide and transfer to your accommodation.

  2. Day 2 Lima

    Take a city tour of Lima and visit Plaza de Armas, La Catedral de Lima and the Gold Museum.

  3. Day 3 Cusco

    Today you will leave Lima and fly to Cusco. The city sits at a high altitude in the Andes mountains and is the gateway to Machu Picchu.

    Spend some free time in Cusco adjusting to the altitude.

     

  4. Day 4 Cusco

    Spend the day in Cusco where you can visit some of the historical sites in the area with many Inca Ruins. You could also enjoy a culinary experience or go rafting on the Chuquicahuana river.

  5. Day 5 Sacred Valley

    Full day Sacred Valley tour visiting The Urubamba river ballet, Maras salt ponds, Moray Inca ruin and Ollantaytambo fortress. You will continue from here to Aguas Caliente where you will stay overnight.

  6. Day 6 Machu Picchu

    Full day exploring the world-famous Machu Picchu with guided tour.

  7. Day 7 Ollantaytambo

    Travel back to Ollantaytambo and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

  8. Day 8 Cusco

    Travel to Cusco and spend some time buying souvenirs.

  9. Day 9 Depart Peru

    Depart Cusco for your flight back to the UK.

  10. Day 10 Arrive home

  1. Machu Picchu Peru

    This 15th Century citadel is located on the Cusco region above the Scared Valley. It is believed to be constructed as an estate for the Inca emperor in 1450 and is the most famous Inca civilisation. It was abandoned during the Spanish conquest where it was forgotten until 1911.

  2. Cusco Peru

    Previously the capital of the Inca Empire, Cusco lies in the Peruvian Andes and is famous for its archaeological sites that sits with colonial Spanish buildings. This is the main city to visit before venturing to Machu Picchu.

  3. Sacred Valley Peru

    Sitting high in the Peruvian Andean Mountain range, the Sacred valley is between the ancient city of Machu Picchu and Cusco. Its stretches for 60 kilometres and contains the colonial villages of Ollantaytambo and Pisac.

  4. Ollantaytambo Peru

    Ollantaytambo is a village sat in the Sacred Valley near the Urubamba River. Here you will find an ancient Inca fortress including the Sun Temple and the Princess Baths fountain. There is a local market with many hand crafted products and fresh produce.
